As I got older, I’ve realized there are more important things in life than giving in to my whims and urge to buy whatever I fancy from Zara or Mango, or whichever brand I can afford. These days, my mantra is if its meant to be, it will be there until I have it kept for the 2nd Markdown Sale. It pays to have a sister who’s working for a retail giant here in Manila. Yay! Until then, this lovely dress will have to wait until it gets home to me. xxxx
My work with Men’s Health is out 🙂
I always feel alive when I’m able to do what I really love, and it doesn’t hurt when it takes you to really cool places, this time in Baler, Aurora. Oh and not to mention getting to work with really fun and creative team and lets not forget the gorgeous women, makes you want to go home and hit the gym for hours!! Lol!
Enjoy boys and girls xx
Spent the day at my Uncle’s country house and I instantly fell in love with everything about the place, not only it is surrounded by art, fresh air, and rustic charm but kids and dogs run around freely which makes it perfectly simple.
I will have my own country house someday, but for now I shall be happy to come home to my messy tiny studio where it smells of Green tea, laundry, occasional cooking and hope, lol!
My first post for 2014 and since coming back to my motherland. Its been quite an adventure leaving comfort zones and immersing myself into the unknown. I may have emptied my bank account but my heart, mind and soul has never been so full.
Now, I want to go back and do things, things I love and fond of. This is how I start, by wearing color and prints, Paisley and Tangerine is always a good idea and complementing it with my sister’s florals too.
So there my adventure continues…
My lantern didn’t exactly breezed and glided up in the air like the ones of my friends but this was a good start. I made a couple of wishes so that the Gods and all the power up there can hear it or feel it as it flew. Aren’t we all suckers for making wishes? I know I do every chance I get! May it be wishbones, falling eyelashes, 11:11 on my digital clock, setting foot for the first time in a Church and the list goes. The thing is, those wishes and desires in our hearts are all possible in God’s perfect timing. Timing is just totally everything. I am just ecstatic to be able to have ticked this item in my bucket list, my wishes coming true or not (but I still hope it does :-))
This city just amazes me with its countless (and quaint) brunch places. I just love brunches! Its has such a laid back and sophisticated vibe, and spending it with my beloved bff (who treated me, lol!) makes it perfect. Only thing missing are the rest of our friends whom we have always loved having brunch with. I’m sure someday, we’ll get to spend this lovely meal together and while away having never ending gossips and stories. For now, i’ll savor these churros for them. Xx
I may dream of living in faraway places but there will always be no place like home. Someone wise once told to me that home is really not a place but a condition of the Heart, Mind, and Soul. I promised myself that I will go as far as my feet will take me but once in a while, I still need to look back and remind myself how far I’ve come by going back home. Xx
